Testing Tips
Your first major assessment is due on Sept. 27th. If you are testing in QUIA, don't forget to review your pretest! What are some study strategies that you use to be successful on tests? What are some strategies that you have used that did not work for you? Which assessment form did you choose? Why did you make this choice?

Im taking the test for the expeirment so when i study, my mom has the study guide and tells me the words or the defintion for me to guess what it is. And for like other things i just go over it and test my self for like an hour or so. I made the choice at takin the test because i do better at takin tests instead of doing projects.

When I study I rewrite the whole study guide and then get my mom to quiz me sometimes. I go to my best friend, Tory's house and study with her if we are in the same class or have the same test to study for. The more i see the right answer the better i do on my test.
im taking the test.i take the study guide and make a game out of it . some times i make rap songs out of them in when i take the test i will rap the song in get the qustons right.

Not to stress out over it. I also get my mom to ask me questions from the study guide. Stressing a test and studying for like two hours never works for me. I decided to do the test online. I made this choice because i like taking test better then doing experiment.

I read the study guide over and over until I remember what i need to know.When I write it down it never helps me remember it. I chose to take the test because I didnt feel like doing a project, or whatever else there was. Taking the test would probably be easiest for me.
I listen in school...And one that had not worked for me was staring at a book trying to study ill forget. I chose my 1st one the listen. So I have more time at home :P

when i study i usally have my mom,dad sister help me for like an hour then we take a break then we do it again for an hour until i get it right.
Some things that didnt work for me was just writing it down over and over again and just staring at it until i knew it almost completly but it never worked.!!
I did the test instead cause that would be one of the things that i know i usally dont do well on but on other things like projects they have a list of things that you need to do!! so technically i like doing test cause you really dont have a whole list of instructions. all you have is ust the directions and hats it and just carry on with whatever i was doing!!!

Some of the testing strategies I use are making flashcards and creating memory joggers. Also if I know I have time before the test I study notes. One study strategy that does not work for me is cramming all of the information in my head all at once. What I mean by this is I stretch ouut he studying so I don't get information mixed up. I chose to do the power point because I thought it would be information that would help me remember the specific scientist better.
