Factors That Affect Chemical Reactions

In class we discussed several factors that affect the rate of chemical reactions.  Which factor do you think has the greatest influence in determining the rate of a chemical reaction? Why? Explain your answer.

I think that stirring has the greatest effect on the rate of a chemical reaction. I think this because of how in the sugar cube race the stirred one dissolved fastest, and the movement seems to help many other chemical reactions. A good example is when you mix baking power or baking soda with vinegar, because if you stir it the resulting reation is much bigger than without.

I believe that stirring has the greatest effcet on a chemical reaction. I believe this beacause when we did the sugar cube race strirring made the sugar dissolve the fastest. Also in real life if you want somthing evenly blended togethter you don't just crush it or heat it up and expect it to be combined.

I think that the factor that has the most influence on chemical reactants is the presence of Catalyst of Inhibitor. I think so because the presence of Catalyst of Inhibitor is speeding up the reaction while the inhibitor is slowing it down.

Presence of a Catalyst of Inhibitor because they speed up the atoms and slow down the atoms as well.

heat and cold can effect it heat speeds it up and cold slows it down depending on the chenical, combine is one of them, and breaks up,displice, exchanged.I think tempature effect it the most because of the trematic change. The heat starts it up faster. Then the cold can slow it down a lot

I think that adding heat to somthing has the greatest affect. I say this because if u leave somthing alone with heat then it will change faster then somthing that dosent have heat.

I think that stirring has the greatest effect on the chemical reaction. If you use sugar or alkaseltzer they will dissolve and you wouldnt be able to see it but you can tatste it. For examole the sugar cube race, we did warm water and cold water, we had to see which one dissolved faster or slower.!! :)

Crushed because it sped up the chemical reaction really fast to help the sugar to dissolve faster.Because when you put the time of the whole sugar cube against the crushed sugar cube the crushed sugar cube was like a whole second faster. The crushed sugar cube dissolved so fast because the water didnt have to disolve and stir the sugar itself.

I think that temperature has the greatest effect for dissolving things. Like the sugar cube race the tempurature controlled tube only took thirty some seconds to dissolve the sugar. Another good example is when you make kool aid, you dont use cold water you use warm or hot water.

I think stirring and tempature have the greatest affect on the chemical reaction.Likein the sugar cube race THE TEMPATURE AND STIRRING had the greatest affect on them

I think in my own opinion that temperture is the greatest influence. It changes everything when chemical reactions happen specially when doing soemthing with heat and how it changes like we did in class with sugar cubes. it showed what is the faster way to break it down. Lexi Schlag

I think that temperature has the greatest influence on the rate of a chemical reaction. why? Because temperature is a factor that determines how hott or cold an object is. Or wether or not it will freeze or melt.

i think that the temperature affect it the most becuz it makes the reactshon .the temperature can eather frezz or burn what ever is occuring.
